Rhythms of the Night Tickets & Prices

Three packages, one departure a night at 5:30 PM. Everyone gets the sunset crossing, dinner, the ALMA show and the ride home — the difference is boarding, seating and what you eat.

What every ticket includes

Every package covers the return crossing of Banderas Bay, dinner at Las Caletas, wine and an open bar through the evening, and the ALMA show. No tier sees a different production, lands on a different beach or travels on a different boat. What changes between them is when you board, where you sit, and what is on the plate.

Choosing between the three

Classic is the right answer for most people. Nothing about the experience is withheld from you — the tradeoffs are general boarding, which makes arriving early matter more, and general seating in the theatre.

VIP is the smallest jump and the one most people notice on a busy night: preferential boarding, oceanfront dining with live music, and a designated seating section. Because seating fills from the best positions outward, boarding order is most of what an upgrade actually buys.

Premier is the only tier where the food is genuinely different rather than differently seated — a plated menu from chef Paco Ruano with champagne and a wine pairing, priority boarding and the best seats. Judge it as a restaurant decision rather than a ticket upgrade.

The full comparison sets all three side by side, and the menu guide lists exactly what each tier is served.

What is not included

One thing only: the port access fee of $20 per adult and $10 per child, which the operator collects at the pier. We do not charge it and we do not take a share of it — bring a card or cash on the night.

Getting to and from the terminal is on you as well. Both departure points are straightforward by taxi or rideshare, but allow more time than the map suggests in high season: you will be travelling in the late afternoon, and the boat does not wait. Departure and check-in covers which terminal to pick.

How booking here works

You choose a date, package and party size and pay online. That creates a reservation request rather than a confirmed seat — we do not hold live inventory, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. We then verify your date directly with the operator and come back to you within 30 minutes during our hours (Monday to Saturday, 7 am – 7:45 pm Puerto Vallarta time), or first thing the next morning we are open.

If your date is unavailable you choose between an alternative date and a full refund. You are never left holding a booking we cannot fulfil.

There is one departure a night and it does sell out in high season, so book as early as your dates allow. If your dates are flexible, tell us and we will check more than one.

Still deciding whether this is the right evening at all? The guide to Puerto Vallarta dinner shows explains how the options actually differ, and is it worth it makes the case both ways, including who should skip it.
