Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy
The terms you accept when you book. Written plainly, because a policy nobody reads protects nobody.
Version 2026-10-30
How a booking is made
Choosing a date, package and party size and paying online creates a reservation request — not a confirmed seat. We then verify your date and contact you within 30 minutes during our hours (Monday to Saturday, 7 am – 7:45 pm Puerto Vallarta time), or first thing the next morning we are open.
Your booking is confirmed only when we tell you it is confirmed and give you a reservation number. Until that point nothing is held for you.
When you book, we record the IP address your request came from and the time you ticked the box above, along with the exact wording you were shown. We keep it so that we can show what was agreed if a charge is ever disputed. Our Privacy Policy explains what else we collect and why.
If we cannot confirm your date
You choose: an alternative date, or a full refund. You are never left holding a booking we cannot fulfil, and you are never charged for a seat you did not get.
Cancellations and refunds
All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable once purchased. No cancellations are accepted, for any reason, including non-arrival. This applies from the moment you pay, not from the date of the tour. The one exception is a date we cannot fill — see above.
This is the operator’s policy and we apply it as given. Seats are committed on your behalf as soon as a booking is confirmed, which is why a late cancellation cannot be absorbed.
Changing your date
You may request a date change. It is subject to availability on the new date and to the operator’s approval, and it is not guaranteed. Ask as early as you can — a request made the week of your tour is far less likely to be accommodated than one made a month out. There is no charge from us for a change we are able to make; a change between a standard date and a special-event date is repriced at the rate for the new date.
If the operator cancels
The tour runs in light rain and the show is outdoors. If the operator cancels a sailing for weather or any other reason, we contact you to rebook or refund you in full — your choice. A cancellation by the operator is not a cancellation by you, and this policy does not apply to it.
Departures
One departure a night at 5:30 PM, monday to saturday — there is no Sunday sailing, and none on New Year’s Day. Check in at least 45 minutes before departure. The boat leaves on time and cannot wait: it crosses open water to a site with no road. Arriving late, or at the wrong departure point, is treated as non-arrival and is not refundable. Both points are named on your confirmation — check which one is yours before you set off.
Fees collected at the pier
A port access fee of $20 per adult and $10 per child is collected at the pier by the operator. It is separate from what you pay us and is not included in your total.
Ages
Under 6 is not permitted. Children are 6–11 and pay a child price; from 12 it is the adult price. Tickets booked at the wrong age band may be refused or repriced at check-in.
Accessibility
The operator lists the experience as not recommended for guests with limited mobility. The site is natural ground — sand, stone, steps and slopes — walked in low light. No package changes that.
Who you are buying from
This is an independent, authorized affiliate booking site. Rhythms of the Night is operated by Vallarta Adventures / The Adventures Group. Your payment is taken by us and your seats are reserved with the operator on your behalf.
Questions before you book
Ask. The FAQ covers most of it, and anything it does not, we will answer directly — before you pay rather than after.
